Trapasso is entering his 14th season as the skipper of the Rainbow Warrior baseball program. In 2006, he was named “National Coach of the Year” by the National Baseball Foundation. He is also a three-time “WAC Coach of the Year” (2004, ’06, ’11). The Rainbow Warriors now compete in the Big West Conference.

Hawaii opens its 2015 season against Oregon on Feb. 13.

Gusman recently served as the head linesman for the first-ever College Football Playoff national championship game. His football officiating career began in 1974, working Hawaii high school football games. Since joining the college ranks in 1987, Gusman has officiated a number of major football events, including the Citrus Bowl, Cotton Bowl, Rose Bowl and the 2011 BCS national championship.

Gusman is also the head baseball coach for the Saint Louis Crusaders. In 2014, he led the program to its first state championship in 40 years. The Crusaders beat Mililani, 10-0, in the title game of the Wally Yonamine Foundation Baseball Championships.
